We’re right in the middle of festival season now and, whether you’re a seasoned festival-goer or you’re planning to go to your first one, packing can be stressful. You have so much to remember, not a lot of space to fit it all in and you never really know what the weather’s going to be like.
Along with the usual essentials like wellies, wet wipes, and a first-aid kit we’ve got a list together of all those little things you’ll need to take with you that would otherwise be pretty easy to forget. See what you think and if you think we’ve forgotten anything important, let us know in the comments below.
It’s not just for the girls – dry shampoo is a an essential for every festival goer. Showering and shampooing might be difficult so dry shampoo is going to be your best friend to keep your hair looking, feeling and (most importantly) smelling fresh.
An external charger / battery pack
It doesn’t have to be an expensive one or a fancy one as long as it keeps your phone / camera going over the whole weekend. The worst thing would be to have your phone die just as you lose your friends, need to call home or meet that awesome guy from your favourite band as he offers to take a photo with you.
An external charge will ensure that never happens and you can stay connected to the outside world and make everyone jealous with your constant Instagram snaps.
Festivals are noisy and earplugs are going to help you get through it. Whether you pop them in to sleep at night or when you’re down at the front by the main stage to protect your ears, you’ll be thankful of them.
Of course, no list would be complete without a little shameless self-promotion. But in all seriousness, think about everything you eat and drink at a festival; junk food, sugary drinks, alcohol. And making sure you brush, floss and use mouthwash regularly probably isn’t high on your list of priorities.
So instead of letting your poor teeth suffer for a couple of days, you can just pop in a couple of Peppersmith after each snack or drink and help prevent a bit of the damage. Plus, our pocket packs are the perfect size to fit in those teeny, tiny shorts pockets.
