Hello and welcome to the Peppersmith website. These Terms and Conditions refer to all information, services and functionality on www.peppersmith.co.uk (the ‘Site’), including the webshop www.peppersmith.co.uk/shop.
Peppersmith is a trading name of Freshly Cut Ltd, company number: 06880196.
Peppersmith makes and sells confectionery and is bound by UK and EU laws and regulations covering mail order goods and services. These include, but are not limited to, the Sale of Goods Act, the EU Distance Selling Regulations and the EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications. We will not sell or knowingly pass your details on to anyone else. We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
We may make changes to this Website and Terms and Conditions from time to time by removing or adding any part without prior warning. Your continued use of this website will be deemed acceptance of these changes.
Intellectual property rights
Unauthorised use of words and images from this website is copyright theft so please don’t do it. If you want to use any of it, please ask by emailing email@example.com. We’re sure we’ll be happy to help.
Standard delivery within the UK is free. Express delivery and non-UK deliveries will be subject to a shipping charge depending on the item, where it is going and how many you’ve bought.
Delivery within the UK should reach you within a week. Occasionally orders do get stuck or lost in the post so we suggest that customers wait 14 days after ordering to get in contact with us if a parcel has gone missing. International orders often take a little bit longer than in the UK. Please get in touch if you want any more information on delivery options.
Method of payment:
Online via Stripe:
You can pay online through our website. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Online via Paypal:
If you would like to return a product (for any reason), we will be happy to give you a refund or exchange for other products provided that the returned mints and gum are unopened. We ask that you return unwanted products at your own expense and responsibility within 28 days of receipt of purchase.
If you received a product that is damaged then a replacement or a full refund will be given, including the cost of sending it back to us. We may ask for a photo of the damaged goods or for you to send them back to us, this is to help us understand what happened and to prevent it in future.
If you wish to return a product, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will let you know how best to do this.
Refunds can only be made through the original way that you paid.
A subscription to Peppersmith is an automatic delivery of mints and gum to your door every 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks. It entitles you to 15% off each order within that subscription. To set up a subscription, you will need to set up an account with us, this is so we know where to send your orders each month.
You can change the frequency of delivery, the number of products, your delivery address, or payment card at any time by getting in touch with us on 0208 788 2080 or email us at email@example.com.
You can cancel your subscription at any time using these same contact details or by clicking ‘cancel subscription’ in your account area.
Now and again our bank card processing company warns us that although a payment has been accepted, the transaction is suspicious. When this happens, we’ll make additional checks with you. If you don’t respond to our requests for more info, we may be forced to cancel the transaction in case it is fraudulent. If so, we’ll have to cancel the order and refund the amount paid but we’ll do all we can to make sure you can make another order asap.
Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or withdraw from a purchase of a product if done so within 7 working days after the date of delivery. On completion of the cancellation of our contract, you will receive a full refund, including the original standard delivery charge.
If you cancel the purchase of a product then you must return the goods at your own expense. You are also responsible for any loss or damage incurred in the process of returning the goods.
If you wish to return a product then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with the relevant information to carry this out.
Refunds can only be made to the original card of purchase. We do not accept returns from countries outside of the European Union.
Our contract with you
Getting your order confirmation and payment isn’t the same as entering into a contract with you. This only happens when we send out your items. This is standard legal practice and is necessary because we might have accidentally made a pricing error or sometimes even your payment might later be declined by your bank. Placing an order and paying for it means you have accepted these terms and conditions.
Third party links
If we share a link to something on a third party website, it doesn’t mean that we endorse the whole website and therefore you acknowledge and agree that we are not to be held responsible for the content of any such sites.
We reserve the right to deny a comment on any blog post if we feel the content is inappropriate.
By creating a user account on this site and/or submitting an order to Peppersmith via the checkout on this Website, you are deemed to have read and fully accepted these Terms & Conditions, including changes we may make from time to time.
